Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one and buy something, I may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. This page spells out which programs I am in and how they do and do not shape what I write.
The programs I am in
- Amazon Associates. Links to drives, UPS units, printers, filament, and similar gear on Amazon.
- Cloudways and Anycubic (via the Awin network). Managed hosting and 3D printers.
- Polymaker. A direct discount link for filament.
- iDrive and pCloud. Online backup and cloud storage, mostly on the storage and RAID pages.
- DigitalOcean (via Awin). VPS hosting on the self-hosting and server pages.
Programs change over time. When one is added or dropped, this list is updated.
What the links do not change
The calculators run entirely on the numbers you enter; no affiliate relationship touches a result. The recommendations in guides are what I actually run or what I would buy with my own money, and I say so plainly when I have not used something. If a product I link turns out to be bad, the link goes, commission or not.
Affiliate links are marked with a disclosure line wherever they appear, and they carry rel="sponsored" so search engines treat them as the paid links they are. If you would rather not use them, searching for the product name gets you the same page with nothing attached.
